Alina Chirila is a self-taught analog film photographer, working in alternative and historical photographic processes. She defines her practice as an exploration of female experience and the division between the public persona and the private self. Her work strives to create temporary bonds between photography and experience itself.
Over the years Alina’s fascination with film and traditional analog techniques has grown and has led her to pursue and experiment with different methods of manipulating photographic materials.
Alina is part of the foto:RE collective.
